If you already have a 12v DC system in place then you can wire directly to it. Each 16.4ft spool would need to be connected to power, the maximum run length is 16.4ft.

I am making a parade float on a boat. It will be a wagon with rotating wheels. I want to use the 12 volt mini LED light strips. The boat runs on a 12 volt electrical system. Do I need your power supply or can I run it on the boats electrical system? Also, can I wire multiple strips together or does each strip require its own power source?
