This is the controller for RGB Sparkle LED Rope Light 148ft | Birddog Lighting. The lights and controller are rated IP65 for outdoor use as long as all connections are properly weatherproofed using 120V RGB Rope/Neon Weatherproofing Kit - Birddog Lighting. You could use SOCKiTBOX Weatherproof Connection Dry Box - Birddog Lighting to protect the metal box but it is not necessary.
