This weatherproofing kit is used to weatherproof the power connections, end cap and any added accessories. The lighting itself is rated for outdoor use.
*Note: If you are purchasing a single color 1/2" round rope light spool 120V LED Rope Lights – Indoor & Outdoor, you do not need to weatherproof the factory power cord that comes on those spools.
