Can these be hardwired for a permanent installation?

These lights can be hard wired, though we do highly recommend consulting a licensed electrician on the hard wiring process. If you do hard wire, the power cord itself has a rectifier box that is built into the cord. Make sure to leave that attached. If it is removed it will cause the lights to flicker. The rectifier box converts the electric current from AC to DC current so it is needed for our led lights to work.
